Hospital Auxiliary’s efforts continue to raise funds for the hospital.  Their 253 active members have contributed more than $540,000 through programs, donations and volunteer hours to Pardee.In 2011, this group of volunteers donated 29,000 hours of their time.  Through the operation of a gift shop, flower machine, and the Garden Café Snack Shop, the Pardee Hospital Auxiliary raises thousands of dollars annually which are used to fund new equipment and services for the hospital.  “The Pardee Hospital Auxiliary is a dedicated group that takes great pride in providing support to patients and staff.  We get much fulfillment and purpose through our volunteer work and consider what we do as one way of giving back to our community,” said Joyce Hancock, President of the Pardee Hospital Auxiliary.Volunteers are a valuable part of Pardee’s mission, and their ongoing support ensures the continuation of many community programs.  If you would like to become a volunteer at Pardee, please visit www.pardeehospital.org and fill out an application form and authorization form.  If you would like more information about the Pardee Hospital Auxiliary, please call 698-7187.Pardee Hospital is a not-for-profit community hospital founded in 1953. The main hospital is licensed for 222 acute care beds and is the second largest employer in Henderson County.
