Adult Sewing Classes

Classes run August thru December

10a-2pm

8/11/18 – Log Cabin Quilt Square  

  • Materials needed: 7 fat quarters of varying shades dark colors; 6 fat quarters of varying shades of light colors (Jelly rolls can be used)

9/15/18 – Double Mitt Pot Holder

  • Materials needed: 2 contrasting colors: 1/2 yard of one and 1/4 of the other. 1 package of bias tape extra wide double fold. Thread to match. (Batting and insul-brite will be provided)

10/13/18 – Tote Bags

  • Materials needed: 1/2 yard of 2 contrasting fabrics. Thread to match

11/3/18 – Blue Jean Apron

  • 1 pair of old blue jeans. 1/2 yard of your favorite fabric for the ruffle and tie.

12/1/18 – Open Sewing

  • This is a time for sewing projects that you may have missed or finish projects that you didn’t complete.

Each class is $10 and sewing machines are provided for your use.
