Come on out for a fun night to help our playwrights hear their words. Monday August 30th, 7:30pm.
The Hendersonville Community Theatre (HCT) is pleased to announce it will begin a monthly staged reading series showcasing the work of area playwrights performed by local actors. The series will kick off on Monday, Aug. 30 at 7:30 with an evening of monologues and continue with 10-minute plays on Mondays, Sept 27, Oct. 25 and Nov. 29 at 7:30 p.m.
Actors new to HCT are welcome to participate and bring their headshots. Any actor who would like to perform will be asked to put their name in casting jars when they arrive. We will cast the readings by drawing names from the jars. The public is invited to attend the readings to be held on the HCT mainstage at 229 S. Washington Street, Hendersonville, NC. There is no charge to attend or to participate, however donations are welcome and will be used to support HCT.
