Come join the party! All Henderson County artists are invited to participate in the Open Studio Tour. Registration is now open and will continue until May 31, 2019. Artists without a working studio or who are in an accessibility-challenged location are encouraged to join several host studios with space for guest artists. The Open Studio Tour is an opportunity for artists to engage with new audiences of art enthusiasts eager to interact with the creators. Artists retain all proceeds from sales made during the event.
The cost to join the 2019 Tour is $100, which includes:
• promotion of artist studio in the 2019 Open Studio Tour of Henderson County guide booklet
• opportunity to showcase artist work at the Preview Party
• full artist page on the HCOST.ORG website
• signs and maps to direct guests to artist Open Studio
Four-color Tour guide booklets will be available to the public in early August to be picked up in locations throughout Henderson County. A Preview Party allows guests to sample all the artists’ work and help raise money for the Backpack Program in Henderson County with an art raffle.
