David Childers and The Gathering Dark will perform a benefit concert to raise funds for Teddy and Friends Animal Rescue on Saturday, November 16, 2019. The event goes from 5pm to 10pm at Southern Appalachian Brewery, 822 Locust St., Hendersonville NC 28792. Admission is free.
Teddy and Friends Animal Rescue presents a very special Hendersonville appearance by nationally acclaimed singer-songwriter David Childers at their Fall Festival. In addition to raffles and games, the event includes performances by local duo The Gathering Dark as well as Childers.
About David Childers:
David Childers hails from Mt. Holly, NC. He is a painter and poet as well as one of North Carolina’s most acclaimed and well respected songwriters. His most recent album, Run Skeleton Run, has received universal praise from all corners of the music industry.
About The Gathering Dark:
Josh Dunkin and Steven DuRose came together in Hendersonville, NC via Chicago and Los Angeles, respectively. Dunkin is a songwriter and a veteran of the famed Second City in Chicago. DuRose is a life-long student of the craft of songwriting and a working musician. Together they fly under the banner of The Gathering Dark.
