The Local Board for the has been notified the national program’s funding has been determined. ESFP contact Sarah Kowalak, United Way of Henderson County, reports a funding notification regarding Henderson County’s allotment has been sent to the Local Board.
This federal funding is designated to supplement and expand the work of local social services agencies, both nonprofit and governmental, to assist individuals with emergency rent, mortgage and utility payments. For Phase 38, Henderson County was awarded $26,808 in Federal Funds through the Federal Emergency Management Administration.
