On Sunday, August 7,2022, the 17-piece Hendersonville Swing Band will perform a concert to benefit the Local and Global Missions Ministries of Trinity Presbyterian Church, Hendersonville. The band has not played a public concert since November, 2019. This concert will be the band’s return to the local music scene. The band, directed by trombonist Jerry Zink, will play tunes in the style of the Big Bands of the ’30’s and ’40’s and will also feature Asheville vocalist Tom Donnelly. The concert will be held at Trinity Presbyterian Church, 900 Blythe Street, Hendersonville, starting at 3:00 P.M. No admission will be charged but a free-will offering will be accepted at the door.
