Entries now being accepted for Narnia Studios 14th annual Gingerbread Cookie Contest. Winners in 5 categories will be announced December 4, 2020.
Bakers of all ages are encouraged to create their best gingerbread person creations for this years annual Gingerbread Cookie contest hosted by downtown favorite, Narnia Studio’s. In honor of downtown Hendersonville’s theme this year, Who-ville, a new category has been added, Best Grinch Cookie. There are four other categories that bakers can cook-up their most creative entries, traditional, unusual, teamwork and under 13 years of age.
The rules are simple to keep it fun for everyone in town to enter. The cookie creations must be 100% edible and they must be received at Narnia Studios by December 1, 2020. Winners will be announced at Narnia Studios 25th annual Open House on December 4 and all cookies will be on display throughout the week. The top winner in each category with receive a $50.00 floral gift certificate from Narnia Studios.
To throw a little more holiday spirit into the festivities, 2-time reigning champ, Kerry Griffin, has encouraged people to knock her off her cookie throne and to also help a local charity. Kerry has committed to donating $5.00 for every gingerbread entry, the monies will then be donated to local charity, Blue Ridge Humane Society. Barbara and Kerry see this years GINGERBREAD COOKIE CONTEST as a win-win for Hendersonville and a beloved local animal shelter.
