League of Women Voters Announces September Voter
Registrations, Candidate Events, and High School Student Video Contest
The League of Women Voters Henderson County is full steam ahead in September
engaging and informing community members in the fall election. The League will
continue to provide outdoor, voter information and registration events to all
community members during the month of September. Along with these events,
League Voter Services Team Chair, Caren Kessler, reported that the League is
underway planning several virtual candidate programs. The League is also
sponsoring a student video contest open to all high school students. League
President Rachel Poller announced that high school students are invited to create a
2-minute video informing young voters why voting is important and what voters
need to know and do to be ready to vote. First prize is $500. For more information
