Let’s Keep Talking Community Panel Event
Save The Date: Sunday, February 21
4:00PM
Let’s Keep Talking is a community-wide initiative designed to bring people together across boundaries that seem to separate them. Our purpose is to build a cohesive community by providing a safe, comfortable space to talk, get to know, and better understand one another – beyond our “labels.”
The upcoming February event is our third gathering. It will feature a panel sharing their personal perspectives on the deep political divide we face and how we might move forward together. We have invited leaders of the community who have consistently shown a commitment to its well-being and who represent various viewpoints, including Rabbi Rachel Jackson of Agudas Israel; Denise Long, Executive Director of United Way; and Blair Craven, Chair of the Henderson County Board of Education.
A brief workshop will be presented on “How to Have a Comfortable Conversation with Someone on the Other Side of the Divide.”
Attendees will also join small groups to individually share their own stories and perspectives.

Feel free to also submit a question relevant to the topics for the panel.
