Fletcher Parks & Recreation will host the 2023 Hunter Subaru Polar Bear 5k run on Saturday, January 28th at 10am on the greenway trails in Bill Moore Community Park. Registration is only $25.00 and includes a winter running cap for the first 100 runners to sign up. You can register at Fletcher Parks & Recreation web site via Rec Desk. Age Groups awards are being sponsored by Borg Warner & First Citizens ( hot cocoa mugs) and Rinehart Racing, Foot Rx Running & Fleet Feet Sports are all event sponsors. The course is flat and fast, and a great race to start your 2023 running year with! All proceeds will go to the Fletcher Park Development fund for future park improvements.
