During this Speaker Series, Mike will offer his personal perspectives on the history, culture, cuisine, and the changing face of Communism in the two countries – which are both undergoing extraordinary transformations since the Vietnam War and Cambodian genocide in the 1970s.

A proud resident of Hendersonville as of 2013, Mike is an extensive world traveler and has lived and worked overseas. Before moving to Hendersonville, Mike was active in Columbus Sister Cities (Ohio) for 20 years, and is immediate past President of Hendersonville Sister Cities.
