State Representative Jake Johnson, Jennifer Hensley Candidate for Hendersonville City Council to speak at Henderson County Republican Breakfast

State Representative Jake Johnson, District 113, along with Jennifer Hensley, Candidate for Hendersonville City Council will be the featured guest speakers at the Henderson County Republican Breakfast on Saturday October 19th, at the Dixie Diner on Hwy 64 in Laurel Park, 7:30-9:00 AM.
Jake was recently appointed to fulfill the unexpired term of former State Representative Cody Henson.  Jake will stand for election in 2020.   He is a former County Commissioner of Polk County.
Jake will speak to a number of issues facing the State Legislature to include the Budget and the Governors veto of various pieces of legislation.  Other issues include the expansion of Medicaid, pay raises for teachers and other budget items that the Governor has vetoed.
Jennifer Hensley is seeking one of two positions on the Hendersonville City Council.  There are a total of four candidates seeking a position on City Council.   She owns a small business in Hendersonville and brings with her the knowledge and experience of running a business, the rules and regulations that impede people from owning and operating a business.
All Registered Republicans are encouraged to attend the Monthly Republican Breakfasts, which are held the Third Saturday of Each Month at the Dixie Diner on Hwy 64 in Laurel Park from 7:30-9:00 AM.  A Breakfast Buffet is available, or you may choose to order from the menu.
