The League of Women Voters Henderson County will sponsor a 2020 Census Information Presentation on Wednesday, March 25, 2020 at the Henderson County Public Library, 301 N Washington Street, Hendersonville, NC 28739 from 4-6 PM.

The guest speaker will be Charles F. Megown, a Partnership Specialist with the United States (US) Census Bureau. Megown will share the latest information on the census which is scheduled for April 1st. The presentation will include how and why each state and county benefits from a complete count and what community members can do to support it. There will be time for questions and answers.

Currently, a resident of Bevard, NC, Megown spent 22 years on active duty with the US Marine Corps and retired in 2015. After retirement, he taught Junior ROTC in Transylvania County for four years.
