Food Waste and Pumpkin Collection

Between Halloween and Thanksgiving, there will be plenty of jack-o-lanterns and fall squash leftover, so don’t let them meet a spooky end in the landfill- instead, compost them with Henderson County Solid Waste! From November 1 to December 8, residents can bring leftover pumpkins and decorative squash to a special dumpster at the Henderson County Convenience Center. Henderson County Toy Run

The Henderson County Toy Run raises funds through sponsorships, riders, t-shirt sales, 50/50 drawings and silent auction. Toy Run participating motorcyclists ride a parade route throughout the county. The proceeds from the Toy Run provide Christmas presents for 139 Foster Children, including $125 gift cards for neglected and abused teenagers as well as families in our community that needed help during the holidays. Atlanta Based Musicians Perform in Saluda Musical
