| ‘The Emotional Residue of Dreams’ is a 5 year retrospective of abstract art produced by David Day. What makes David’s art different is that it is all made with camera movement against scenes of common items like twigs, leaves, glass, plastic bags, tissue paper and newsprint. Over 100 works will be included in the exhibit and David will be launching his 4th book of the same title that details how his art is made and the role that dreams plays in the production of his art. Proceeds from the event will be donated to the Blue Ridge Humane Society to continue their important work in the community. The exhibit opens on Friday May 1 from 6-8pm with artist discussion at 6:45 pm. The exhibit will run throughout the month of May with exhibit hours of Wednesday through Saturday 11AM – 4PM. |
