Mark’s connection to Hendersonville began in 1987 when he arrived at the Flat Rock Playhouse as an acting intern, sparking a lifelong affection for the community. After nearly a decade as a professional actor, he launched his career in radio at WTZQ.
Today, Mark and his wife, Paige Posey, are co-owners of WTZQ, where Mark also serves as co-host of The Breakfast Club with Mark & Paige. He is a graduate of Western Carolina University, holding a Bachelor of Science degree in Radio, Television and Film, with a double major in Speech and Theater Arts. Mark has served on numerous non-profit boards including Four Seasons Hospice, Blue Ridge Community College Educational Foundation, United Way and the Henderson County Tourism Development Authority. He is currently serving on the Henderson County Chamber board.
