The  2^nd annual Christmas in the Park event on Saturday, December 7^th from 1pm -5pm at Bill Moore Community Park. Enjoy ice skating, visit with Santa Claus, 12 Vendors of Christmas, Polar Plunge slide, food trucks and live Christmas music from Fletcher school, Veritas band – 7^th ave, &  Appalachian Fire band.  Mayor Whiteside will read the “Night before Christmas story” and light the 15 foot Park Christmas tree around 5:15pm. You can also take a family photo in the giant Snow Globe !
