Be Active Day! – Fun for Children – New Location!

The annual Be Active Day has a new space this year at Blue Ridge Community College in Flat Rock. Sponsored by the Henderson County Department of Public Health, the free event will feature toys, activities, information, demonstrations, and door prizes to inspire children to have fun by moving more every day. In addition to some of our past participants, this year’s event will also be joined by Muddy Sneakers, Kids in Parks, Special Olympics, Airborne, other organizations, and even compost worms!

Toddlers through elementary school children and their caregivers are invited to this free event on Saturday, January 25th from 11:00 am – 3:00 pm. Be Active Day will be held in the Blue Ridge Conference Center, 49 East Campus Drive, Flat Rock.
