Better Together: Blue Ridge Literacy Council’s Annual Luncheon Fundraiser

June 30, 2021 @ 11:30 am - 1:00 pm

Blue Ridge Literacy Council, a local nonprofit organization dedicated to impacting the lives of children, teens, and adults through improved literacy skills, plans to hold their annual luncheon in person at Guidon Brewery on June 30, 2021 from 11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. This year’s event, centered around the theme “Better Together”, aims to both celebrate the organization’s achievements of the past year with tutoring success stories from guest speakers and garner excitement for what’s in store for the future by encouraging guests to lock arms, combine resources, and pursue results that lift up the community.

The transition period from the pandemic is challenging, and the Literacy Council is asking partners to make an impact gift at the 2021 luncheon to help restore funding sources. Tickets are sold as pairs to invite participants to bring a guest who may not have been aware of this great organization. Pricing starts at $75 for two. Each guest will enjoy a boxed lunch from Three Chopt Sandwich Shop and a drink ticket for one of Guidon’s fantastic beverages. Thank you to Kimberly-Clark Corporation, our business sponsor. To purchase tickets, visit our website at www.litcouncil.org.
