The Hendersonville Swing Band will play a concert in early
November to benefit the Civitan Club of Hendersonville. The band, under the direction of
trombonist Jerry Zink, will play Big Band favorites of the ‘30s and ‘40s. The concert will
be held at Trinity Presbyterian Church, 900 Blythe Street, on Saturday, November 3,
2018, at 3:00 P.M. Tickets are available with a $10 donation to Civitan and may be
obtained from Henderson County Visitors Center or any Civitan Club member. Tickets
will also be available at the door.
The proceeds from the concert will be used to fund scholarships for graduating
Henderson County High School Seniors and will also provide financial support to local
agencies and events such as Special Olympics.
