Creating Calm after Chaos is a trauma recovery process with art that supports anyone suffering from trauma — whether it’s from Helene, wildfires, loss or grief, injury, etc. These 2-day offerings focus on what trauma is — how it affects the body, thoughts, and emotions — as well as tools to relieve stress. Each 3 hour session includes art: we create a collage (all supplies provided) so that participants can release whatever they choose to express. This program is free, thanks to funding by the Community Foundation of Henderson County. Lunches provided by UNC Health Pardee.
