This month’s Discover Natural Transylvania on Thursday, December 6 at 6:30 pm in the Rogow Room at the Transylvania County Library will feature bats.  Wildlife Diversity Biologist Katherine Caldwell will cover bat basics, conservation issues, projects and what we can do help bats in her presentation, “Going Batty: Bat Conservation in NC.”

Light refreshments are provided by the Friends of the Library who support the Discover Natural Transylvania program series on the first Thursday of most months.  Upcoming programs will feature peregrine falcons and golden eagles (January), Western North Carolina weather (February) and skunks (March).  For additional information contact Marcy at 828-884-1820 or marcy.thompson@transylvaniacounty.org.
