Pardee UNC Health Care will Host a Free Seminar

June 19, 2018 @ 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm

Pardee UNC Health Care will host a free seminar on treatments for varicose veins and spider veins on Tuesday, June 19 from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Henderson County Health Sciences Center (second floor, room 2003), located at 805 6th Avenue West in Hendersonville. Craig Miller, M.D., a board-certified vascular surgeon at Pardee, will discuss a breakthrough procedure for treating varicose veins called VenaSeal ™. The nearly pain-free procedure can be done in less than an hour and normal activity can be resumed immediately afterward. Dr. Miller is the only provider in Western North Carolina who performs the VenaSeal ™ procedure. He will also discuss treatment of spider veins using sclerotherapy.

“Varicose and spider veins are more than a matter of physical appearance – they can cause swelling, aching and discoloration,” said Dr. Miller. “They may also indicate that a more serious medical condition is occurring within the vascular system.”

The seminar is free and open to the public; light snacks and beverages will be served. To attend, please register online at www.pardeehospital.org/classes-events. For more information, call 828-693-8019.
