Safelight announces the sixth annual Celebration of Courage, sponsored by Park Ridge Health on Wednesday, April 18 from noon until 2pm at Kenmure Country Club. This year’s event will feature keynote speaker Madeline Delp, Ms. Wheelchair USA. Ms. Delp is a national speaker and advocate for people with disabilities. She founded the nonprofit Live Boundless, which funds and promotes educational projects and resources for those living with disabilities. As the keynote speaker for Celebration of Courage, Madeline will share how her family’s experience with interpersonal violence has shaped her advocacy efforts as an adult.
