Chief Tim Garren is excited to announce that Valley Hill Fire & Rescue has partnered with the Storehouse of Henderson County to hold a blanket drive. Starting Monday November 11 until December 10, 2019 Valley Hill Fire & Rescue locations will be collecting new and gently used blankets that will then be distributed to the less fortunate members of the community.
“A simple blanket is something that so many of us take for granted but could ultimately save the life of someone who is less fortunate and braving the elements. I challenge everyone to step up and take this opportunity to give during this upcoming holiday season.” Chief Tim Garren
Blankets can be dropped off at any Valley Hill Fire & Rescue location as well as at the Storehouse (1049 Spartanburg Hwy, Hendersonville).
