Thank you, Pollinators! Exhibit and Seed Packet Giveaway
Week of June 22 – 28 (Monday – Saturday, 7 AM – 9 PM and Sunday, 8 AM – 8 PM)
Presented by Hendersonville Community Co-op and Bee City USA – Hendersonville
Fresh summer tomatoes, squash, and berries, as well as almonds, melons, chocolate, vanilla, and coffee — without pollinators, our grocery baskets would look empty. The Community Co-op has created an exhibit which shows this quite visibly. For a week during Pollinator Month, the Co-op celebrates the honey bees, squash bees, bumble bees, blueberry bees, orchard bees, moths, butterflies, bats, hummingbirds, beetles, and more who help bring nutritious and delicious foods to our grocery carts and dinner plates. A free packet of pollinator-friendly Black-Eyed Susan flower seeds will be available while supplies last.
