“The Pollinators” Virtual Movie Night Plus Q&A Session
Tuesday, June 23, 6 – 8:30 PM
Presented by Asheville GreenWorks and Carolina Native Nursery
“The Pollinators” is a cinematic journey around the United States following migratory beekeepers and their truckloads of honeybees as they pollinate the flowers that become the fruits, nuts, and vegetables we all eat. While the film is focused on honeybees, it takes a hard look at the pesticides that impact all pollinators. Because we live in a highly productive agricultural area, this film speaks directly to us all. After the screening, Maryann and Jim Frazier—two bee researchers featured in the film—will be available for a Q&A session.
